Different Types of Anabolic Steroids for your Unique Goals

There's different types of anabolic steroids to reach your goals whether it's getting ripped, bigger, or stronger.

They won't do the work for you, but they can build upon the hard work you're already doing. You can think of anabolics as a turbo charger for your workouts.

Types of Anabolic Steroids

1. Testosterone based steroids.
2. DHT based steroids.
3. Progestin (19-nor) based steroids.

Each class has their pros and cons for your physique and sports performance goals.

Testosterone Based Steroids

- Testosterone
- Equipoise (Boldenone)
- Dianabol aka Dbol (Methandrostenolone)
- Turinabol aka Tbol (Chlordehydromethyltestosterone)

Testosterone based steroids help primarily to increase maximum mass, with modest strength. They are good overall steroids for bodybuilding and strength sports, with positive effects on mood and well-being. Your dick, psychiatrist, and girlfriend/wife will love you for it. :)

DHT Based Steroids

- Masteron (Dromostanolone)
- Winstrol (Stanozolol)
- Furazabol (Miotolan)
- Anavar (Oxandrolone)
- Halotestin (Fluoxymesterone)

If you want to get leaner for bodybuilding or improve your speed for track and field, football, hockey, baseball etc... these are the drugs that will do it.

The infamous 100mg sprinter Ben Johnson from the 1988 Seoul Olympics used Furazabol extensively throughout his training career. Ultimately a failed drug test for Winstrol led to his demise.

Progestin (19-nor) Types Of Anabolic Steroids

- Deca (Nandrolone)
- Finaplix (Trenbolone)
- Anadrol aka Drol (Oxymetholone) *see bottom for explanation*

Deca is unparalleled for joint and arthritis relief. As little as 50mg to 100mg per week can change your body from feeling like 60 to 20 years old again. It is also a wonderful anabolic for increasing muscle, with a general low rate of side effects.

Women can use Deca for strength or joint/arthritis relief at 25mg per week with little worry about masculinizing side effects.

Trenbolone also known as Tren is arguably the best steroid for cutting up for bodybuilding contests, and to get stronger for powerlifting, strongman, highland games, etc...

Powerlifters have known to increase their bench press max by 100 lbs in 2 months followed by an intelligent strength program. Yes, it really is that great. The downside is if you're prone to aggression Tren will bring it out in spades.

The truth is; if you're an asshole without steroids, you'll be an even bigger asshole with Tren. It's just something to keep aware of. If you're feeling particularily moody and irritable you should exercise more self-restraint or switch to a more friendly strength drug like one of the DHT steroids listed above.

*Anadrol is a tricky one. Technically it is classified as a DHT steroid but it has progestin binding at the receptor. It has great effects on strength and mass albeit temporarily as a lot of your gains are pissed out after a cycle.

It't most common use is for mass gaining in bodybuilding cycles, and increasing strength prior to powerlifting contests due to it's bloat and CNS increasing qualities. Most likely you'll either love it or hate it.

Another thing to be aware of... the dreaded "Deca dick" or "Tren dick" sexual side effects. If you're having a tough time getting it up or wanting to have sex, you most likely are running high in prolactin which progestin steroids tend to raise.

A good antidote to this dick problem is to run a DHT compound like Proviron, Masteron, or a dopamine agonist like Cabergoline (Dostinex, Cabaser). These will keep the sexual sides away to keep you pounding the gym and the bedroom.
