How to Perform Self Prostate Milking

Self prostate milking is different than traditional prostate stimulation methods in that the primary goal is not to have an orgasm. It’s purely a therapeutic tool to relieve congested prostatic fluid for prevention of prostatitis, enlarged prostate, and prostate cancer.

While self prostate milking was used as a primary tool to relieve prostate problems prior to 1970, it is no longer considered a viable treatment in the traditional medical community.

However, prostate milking is still alive and well in alternative medicine and other countries that don’t rely on a purely pharmaceutical, surgery approach like the western world.

Self Prostate Milking Benefits

- Flushing bacteria from your prostate to prevent prostatitis.
- Reduces inflammation from enlarged prostate (BPH).
- Improves circulation to keep prostate healthy in the prevention of prostate cancer.

Directions for Milking the Prostate

It is important you evacuate your bladder and bowels prior to self prostate milking. It will allow for a more pleasant and clean experience.

It is preferable to wear latex/non-latex medical gloves to ensure both the cleanliness of your hands and to prevent contact with your nails to prevent any possible damage to the prostate or rectal canal.

Water based lubricant like KY brand or petroleum jelly (Vaseline) should be applied liberally to your index finger around the glove.

Make sure you are in a relaxed setting. Lying down on your back is generally the most comfortable position. Slowly insert your finger into your anus. Allow the muscles around your anal sphincter to relax naturally and don’t force it!

As your body relaxes it should be easier to insert your finger. You should be able to find your prostate about an inch and a half (4 centimeters) on the side facing your belly.

Your prostate is approximately the size of a walnut, and you should feel a slight protrusion from the rectal wall. Gently stroke your prostate in a come hither motion.

Depending on the sensitivity of your prostate or any prior inflammation issues like prostatitis or benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) there may be some discomfort while stroking the prostate. The amount of pressure you should be using should be comparable to how hard you would rub your eyeball.

So rub gently! You do not want to damage anything down there. You only have one prostate. :)

After stroking for awhile you may become sexually aroused resulting in an erection. This may not always happen but is obviously a side effect of the sexual stimulation!

Some men feel a build-up towards orgasm; others won’t feel much at all. It’s largely dependent on the type of prostate stimulation you are receiving. Manual stroking as compared to using a prostate toy can sometimes result in a lower likelihood of orgasm.

As you progress towards continued stroking, you may feel some prostatic fluid leaking from your flaccid or erect penis. It will be similar in consistency to “pre-cum” and is a result of draining the prostate of seminal fluid.

Once completed, slowly remove your finger from you’re your rectum to allow the muscles to contract naturally. Discard the glove in the appropriate receptacle, and feel good in the knowledge that you maintaining your prostate health!

If you find the positioning awkward while performing self prostate milking a partner may help complete the requisite directions. You may find it a more pleasurable experience since less concentration is needed, allowing you to relax a little more.

- Where to find the prostate.
- Hygiene and set-up.
- Relaxation exercises to properly target the prostate.
- Self prostate massage finger technique and with a partner.
- Self prostate stimulation using various toys.
