The hysteria and labeling of anabolics as illegal greatly decreased prescription rates from doctor's, fearing legal action. The paranoia over steroids alleged "bad side effects" didn't help their PR campaign either.

Unfortunately this has caused patients to be denied once wonderful medicines that have not been replaced by anything better.

Thankfully, the word has been getting back out on the positives of these great drugs and their applications to medical science. You can only keep a lie hidden so long until the truth comes out.
