Cabergoline - Dopamine Agonists and Libido

After you ejaculate during sex/masturbation, prolactin levels rise. The hormone prolactin is responsible for you feeling sleepy after sex, the refractory period (time between having sex), and overall reduced sex drive.

As you get older prolactin levels rise, resulting in diminished motivation to have sex, and less frequency (a couple times per week, rather than a few times per day).

They can help you have sex if you suffer from impotence (not being able to get it up), but they won't make you want to have sex. They don't effect your sex drive, arousal, excitement, orgasm, and ejaculation like the above libido drugs do.
