Improved Quality of Life with Testosterone Replacement

by Matthew H Tartaglia

I have been in pain of one level or another for going on 19 years now. As a certified master hypno-therapist and certified hypno-analyst as well as certified instructor in both, I have available a lot of pain management coping skills and knowledge.

This does not however mean that I cannot or should not avail myself to new and particularly effective treatments that come along.

I have several (7) herniated discs, facet joint constriction, several other common problems that come with this type of issue as well as neuropathy (nerve pain) and adhesive arachnoiditis.

The adhesive arachnoiditis is a very aggressive and unforgiving result of medicine's errors, whether surgical (such as mine) or the injection of myelogram dye (also such as mine) and gets very little coverage as a result, in my opinion.

Well nonetheless, I tried testosterone replacement from a wonderful doctor in another state than mine and we did everything above board as it were.

Then the doctors office said that they were getting grief from the DEA and other agencies on working with people from other states, and that I would have to see someone locally.

If I could come to see him that would be another story, but the way things were currently I would have to wait to use his services until it was possible, if ever.

Anyway, at the time I was under his care I used injectable testosterone, at 400 mgs. every two weeks. This was a God send to me. I had energy and my opiod medication needs went down dramatically.

As a matter of fact, I would go as far to say that with the administration of the testosterone, I was a able to go to NYC and respond as a first responder and then a Counselor until the site was closed down after cleanup.

Had I not had the testosterone replacement at the time, I would have still went but I doubt I would have been able to help as long as I did.

Today my current doctor is considering the use of TRT I have requested both testosterone and/or deca durabolin another great medication for such issues in my opinion.

I have confidence with all the studies being done at Johns Hopkins as well as other universities, so my time is coming again where I can look forward to more energy and less medication intake with as good or better efficacy of the opiods.

I plan to one day be in even better shape than I have accomplished before going to Ground Zero. I have been very very limited in what I can do, even when treating people with hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

I am an awesome hypnotist and love helping people accomplish their goals as well as control their pain with hypnosis.

Help them learn faster, remember things better, stop smoking, loose weight, and so much more. It's just so unfortunate that I need to wait so long and work so hard to receive a perfectly acceptable form of said treatment.

As well as others who have to dance around with fears of doctors who should be able to write as they see fit. The prescriptions for a patient who has had previous exposure and use of a particular medication, not a bureaucrat regardless of the title they hold.

I am seeing my doctor again very soon with articles and material I have collected for him. If you want your doctor to write for testosterone then get proactive, help your doctor help you by educating them about testosterone.

Plus they can put it in your folder in case someone gripes about it one day.

If you're considering testosterone replacement and you have done your homework I believe you are in for a treat as well as better days. If you have not done your homework then do it! You'll learn a lot and you might help your doctor help you in your endeavor.

Oh! One last comment, as a man who has the mindset, if some is good, more must be better, I can tell you that in this case you don't want to make this mistake here.

You just want to compliment your bodies testosterone output, not shut in down making your life a living hell. It can really make anything you have going on a lot worse.

So I hope what I wrote helped tell your doctor that there are other people who can use less meds while feeling energized with an overall sense of well being. Your love life can definitely be enjoyed, alongside added vitality and greater state of mind.

Please remember I am a hypnotherapist and NOT an M.D. so check with yours for sure. I hope this was helpfulp and gave you some hope too!

Best regards,
Matthew H. Tartaglia CHt, MHt, and Certified Instructor
