Female Steroids in Sport and BodybuildingA word of warning if you are a woman thinking about using female steroids. Please arm yourself with the facts before jumping to a potentially harmful and life altering decision. Now that we have that out of the way... women on steroids isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Yes, they can be wonderful performance enhancing drugs, but they come with a host of medical problems, some permanent, if you haven't done your due diligance.
Common Side Effects of Women on Steroids- Increased body hair
My first piece of advice... Do not listen to the bro at the gym or your newly appointed boyfriend for steroid advice. They most likely will design a similar cycle to what they are on, and won't be considering your unique female perspective. It is most important you tap out non-steroidal avenues first. A good start would be; Non-Steroidal Performance Enhancers- Thyroid hormones T3 (cytomel) and T4 (synthroid)
Although DNP may be dangerous in high dosages, it is very effective and moderately safe when used at appropriately low dosages. Once you've exhaused the above options, then you may start considering anabolic female steroids. This shouldn't go without saying. You must have your diet and exercise program dialed in first before looking for any performance aids. Steroids only act as a magnifier. You certainly shouldn't be using steroids on a half-assed nutrition/exercise program. The Best Female Steroids- Anavar (Oxandrolone)
These are the three lowest androgenic (male inducing) steroids on the market. Low androgen steroids reduce the side effects listed above. You would be wise to start at a low dose to see how your body reacts and slowly move upwards if need be. Some steroid side effects can be reversed if caught early so make sure you are vigilant and stop immediately if you encounter any. Start at Low DosagesA good starting dose is 5mg per day. Don't jump the gun starting at higher dosages. Women typically have 10x less testosterone as a man, and can therefore make very good gains on very low dosages. After a 4 week cycle of 5mg per day take at least 4 weeks off, and if you wish, jump to 7.5 mg per day on your next cycle. That may not sound like much, but it is still a 50% increase. Small potatoes for some, but enough for you to make some good gains. You should be gaining muscle and losing fat very quickly at these dosages. If you wish to keep your feminity, low dosages for short periods is the key. Don't get overzealous. You have all the time in the world to increase your dosages if need be. And remember... side effects can be permanent so be careful!
