How To Recover From Adrenal Fatigue
Adrenal fatigue isn't as sexy a diagnosis as emotionally, which means, your doctor probably isn't looking for it either. Stress effects all areas of your health from physically, mentally, to testosterone deficiency. When you're burning the candle at both ends, this gland can become sick over time, impairing your adrenals ability to manage stress. Having strong adrenals is what gets you through the day. They allow you to handle stress and to interact and react with your environment. To put it bluntly, if you have no adrenal hormones, you will die within minutes. Without testosterone, you'll only be a eunich. Ya I know you're thinking, that's not a pleasant thought either. Symptoms of Adrenal FatigueYour diagnosis may fall through the cracks since the symptoms of adrenal fatigue looks like a lot of other differant diseases. Your doctor may think you're a hypochondriac, or "stressed". You feel defeated, hopeless, but damnit you know something is wrong! The causes of fatigue can come from either a major tramatic event or years of low grade stress that wears you down over time. Your energy reserve can get damaged from illness or surgery. Nutrition, alcohol and drug use, divorces, sleep loss, mental illness, etc... can contribute to low adrenal function as well. Adrenal Fatigue TreatmentYour adrenal fatigue treatment may vary depending on differant health markers. Since the reason you have adrenal insufficiency can be differant from someone else, the treatments can be differant as well. However you can recover and feel better again. There are 1000's of people that can testify. To see if you have adrenal health problems, testing adrenal function can be completed at home, or through a doctor if you wish. Some of the tools you may need; an oral thermometer, blood pressure cuff, small flashlight, and a pen. You'll find out why saliva testing is superior to blood, and how to test on your own, if your doctor is not a willing participant. Many doctors only see the extreme ranges of adrenal disorders which is outside of 95% of an already unhealthy population. This can prove to be a barrier to diagnosis and treatment. What is normal and what is optimal are hugely differant. It's definitely best to work with a good doctor, but if you don't have that luxury, hopefully this information can help. Living the rest of your life in misery is not option.
